Store Steward is built around these rules. It supports your compliance but does not replace your own legal review.

Rule	How Store Steward helps
FTC Consumer Review Rule, 16 CFR 465	Moderation needs an allowed reason code and never accepts “negative”. Recovery coupons follow a resolved complaint and are not tied to changing or removing a review. It does not write reviews.
UK Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act	The same approach applies: no fake reviews and no hiding reviews because of sentiment.
EU 30-day prior price	Tracks each product’s 30-day lowest price and warns when an advertised reduction would be measured against a higher price.
EU AI Act, Article 50	Every AI-drafted reply is approved by a person before it is posted. Nothing AI-written reaches customers on its own.
GDPR	PII is scrubbed before AI prompts, the provider is chosen and contracted by you, and the activity log holds no personal data. Proposal emails are redacted after 30 days (decided, not applied) and covered by the WordPress exporter and eraser. Recovery coupons store the buyer’s email in the WooCommerce coupon itself.
