All settings live under WooCommerce > SmartCouponX on six tabs: General, Triggers, Referral, Email, Analytics and Advanced. Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page after changing any tab; the page returns to the tab you were on.
Master switch. When off, no trigger issues coupons, the referral program is hidden and referral links are ignored. Existing coupons stay usable.
Debug Mode
Off
Writes a line to the WooCommerce log (WooCommerce > Status > Logs, source smartcouponx) each time a coupon email is sent or fails. No personal data is logged.
Each trigger has its own section with the same four fields; the cart triggers use a table instead. See the Features section for how each trigger behaves.
Setting
What it does
Enable … Coupons
Turns the trigger on or off.
Discount Amount
The coupon value, as a percentage or a fixed amount in your store currency.
Discount Type
Percentage (WooCommerce Percentage discount) or Fixed Amount (Fixed cart discount).
Expiry Days
Days until the coupon expires, counted from the day it is created in your site timezone. 0 falls back to 30 days.
Maximum number of unused, unexpired SmartCouponX coupons a customer can hold at the same time. A new reward is skipped while the customer is at the limit. 0 = unlimited.
Max Coupons Per IP
10
Maximum coupons created from one IP address per day for visitor-initiated triggers (registration, newsletter, cart triggers and reviews submitted by the reviewer). 0 = unlimited.
Coupon Cooldown Hours
24
Minimum hours before a customer can receive another coupon from the same trigger. Different triggers do not block each other, so a welcome coupon and a first post-purchase coupon can arrive on the same day. 0 = no cooldown.
Recommended values for most stores are the defaults. Raise Max Coupons Per User if you run several triggers at once and customers complain that a reward never arrived; the analytics Triggers tab shows which triggers are actually firing.
