Installation

SmartCouponX is a premium plugin sold by Technoleet through technoleet.dev. It is not listed on WordPress.org, so you install it from the zip file in your account.

Install from your technoleet.dev account#

1. Install and activate WooCommerce if you have not already.
2. Log in to your account at technoleet.dev and open Dashboard > Downloads.
3. Download the smartcouponx-x.y.z.zip file (do not unzip it).
4. In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the zip file and click Install Now.
5. Click Activate.
6. Activate your license under WooCommerce > SCX License (see License Activation).
7. Go to WooCommerce > SmartCouponX to choose which coupons are issued.

Install by FTP or SSH#

1. Unzip smartcouponx-x.y.z.zip on your computer. It contains one folder named smartcouponx.
2. Upload that folder to wp-content/plugins/ on your server.
3. In WordPress go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and click Activate under SmartCouponX for WooCommerce.
4. Continue with license activation.

What activation does#

On activation the plugin creates three database tables ({prefix}smartcouponx_referrals, {prefix}smartcouponx_triggers and {prefix}smartcouponx_analytics), writes its default settings, registers the referrals My Account endpoint and schedules the daily maintenance event. Post-purchase coupons and the referral program are enabled by default; the other triggers are off until you switch them on.
