Inventory

The Inventory tab is a live list of every ability registered right now. It only reads definitions; it does not call permission checks, so it is safe to open at any time and does not create a history entry.

Inventory list
Inventory: owner, source file, annotations, REST and MCP exposure and schemas for each registered ability, read live.
ColumnDetail
Name and labelThe full namespaced name, for example woocommerce/product-delete, with its human label.
CategoryLabel and slug. Flagged when the category is no longer registered.
OwnerThe plugin, mu-plugin, theme or core component that defines it, with the source file.
AnnotationsRead-only, Destructive and Idempotent, each as yes, no or not set.
ExposurePublic, REST and MCP, each with where its value comes from.
SchemasWhether an input and an output schema exist.
  • Search by name or label.
  • Filter by owner to see one plugin’s abilities.
  • Filter by exposure: REST, MCP, either or none.
  • Sort by name, label, category or owner.

Hidden abilities are still listed#

The inventory reads the raw registry. Abilities that a wp_get_abilities_item_include filter hides from listings are still shown and marked Hidden from listing, because they can still be run by name.
