Requirements
Ability Auditor depends on the Abilities API, so it needs a recent WordPress.
| Requirement | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | 6.9 | 7.1 or later |
| PHP | 7.4 | 8.2 or later |
| WP-CLI | Optional | Latest release, for the wp ability-audit command |
| WooCommerce | Optional | Any version. When installed, the Shop manager role is added to the audit |
| License key | Needed for updates and support | From your account at technoleet.dev |
Notes#
- Below WordPress 6.9 the plugin shows an admin notice and stays inert. Nothing is audited and no screens are added until WordPress is updated.
- WordPress 6.9 and 7.0 are fully supported. Features that arrived in 7.1, such as the
publicflag and the pre-execution filter, are detected in code and used only when present. The Report screen tells you when it is running in this reduced mode. - Multisite is supported. Each site is audited on its own, with its own history and settings. When the plugin is network-activated, the license is managed from the Network Admin.
- No special server settings are needed. Scheduled audits use WP-Cron, which runs when your site gets traffic. See Scheduled Audits if you want exact timing.
Ability Auditor is tested up to WordPress 7.1. It is sold through technoleet.dev and is not available on WordPress.org.
