Introduction

Product Quick View for WooCommerce adds a “Quick view” button next to the add to cart button in your product listings. When a shopper clicks it, a lightweight modal opens on top of the listing and shows the product gallery, name, rating, price, short description and the real WooCommerce add to cart form, so shoppers can pick a variation, choose a quantity and add the item to their cart without leaving the page they are browsing.

The plugin is built for store owners who want shoppers to move through the catalogue quickly. Fewer page loads between “I like this” and “it is in my cart” means fewer abandoned browsing sessions, especially on category pages with many products.

What it is best at#

  • Adding to cart from the listing. The modal loads WooCommerce’s own add to cart templates, so simple, variable and grouped products behave exactly as they do on the product page, including stock messages and quantity rules. External products show their “Buy” button that links to the vendor.
  • A gallery that follows the variation. The modal shows the featured image and the gallery images with a thumbnail switcher. When a shopper picks a variation that has its own image, the main image switches to it.
  • Working everywhere WooCommerce prints a listing. The button appears on the shop page, category and tag pages, related products, the [products] family of shortcodes and the Product Collection block on block themes.
  • Staying light. The modal uses the browser’s native dialog element, bundles no third-party JavaScript libraries, and loads its assets only on pages that actually show a product listing.
