Black Friday: 79% off every plugin Shop the sale →

Release Notes

1.0.2#

Changed

  • Uninstalling the plugin now also removes its license activation data (StoreEngine SDK options, transients and scheduled license checks, and the plugin's entry in the shared license store). Other Technoleet plugins' licenses are left untouched.
  • Block themes: the quick view script and stylesheet are registered once per page, by whichever renders first (the product listing or the theme head).
  • readme: new FAQ entry "What does the ankpqv prefix mean?" explaining the stable technical prefix used by CSS classes, options, hooks and the script.
  • Composer package renamed to technoleet/product-quick-view-for-woocommerce.

Fixed

  • Variable products: attributes set to "Any …" on the variation now keep the value the shopper chose in the modal when the item is added to the cart. The modal form is sent to the plugin's own add to cart endpoint, so third-party fields added to the product form also reach the cart as on the product page.
  • A failed add to cart (out of stock, quantity limits, missing option) now shows WooCommerce's message inside the modal with a link to the product instead of leaving the listing.

1.0.0 (29 October 2026)#

First commercial release.

New

  • Add to cart inside the modal for simple, variable and grouped products using WooCommerce’s own templates; variation selection and quantities are sent over AJAX, and the cart fragments and Mini Cart block refresh. The “redirect to the cart page” option is honoured.
  • Image gallery with a thumbnail switcher; the image follows the selected variation and resets with it.
  • Star rating, SKU, categories and tags in the modal.
  • Settings screen under WooCommerce → Quick View: button text, button position and which elements the modal shows.
  • ankpqv_show_element, ankpqv_show_button and ankpqv_quick_view_html filters and the ankpqv_quick_view_loaded JavaScript event.
  • Licensing and updates through technoleet.dev: a WooCommerce → Quick View License screen to activate and deactivate the key, daily background re-check with a 14-day offline grace period, and updates served from the store while the license is valid.
  • Update URI header so WordPress never offers updates for this slug from another source.
  • Translations placed in languages/ now load.
  • Uninstalling removes the settings option.

Improved

  • Failed quick view requests show a message with a “View product” link inside the modal instead of leaving the listing.
  • The stylesheet is loaded in the head of pages that embed a products shortcode or WooCommerce product block on classic themes, so the button does not shift the layout.
  • An admin notice is shown when WooCommerce is not active.
