Installation
The plugin is distributed from your technoleet.dev account, not from WordPress.org, so it is always installed by uploading the zip file.
Before you start#
- Make sure WooCommerce is installed and active on the site.
- Log in to your account at technoleet.dev and download the plugin zip from your purchases. Your license key is shown on the same page and in your order confirmation.
Install from the dashboard (upload)#
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Click Upload Plugin, choose the
product-quick-view-for-woocommerce-x.y.z.zipfile you downloaded and click Install Now. - When the upload finishes, click Activate Plugin.
- Go to WooCommerce → Quick View License, paste your license key and click Activate. See Activating your license for what happens next.
- Go to WooCommerce → Quick View to set the button text and position and choose what the modal shows.
Install by FTP or SFTP#
If your host blocks plugin uploads, you can install the files by hand.
- Unzip the download on your computer. You get a folder named
product-quick-view-for-woocommerce. - Upload that folder to
wp-content/plugins/on your server. - In WordPress, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins and click Activate under Product Quick View for WooCommerce.
- Activate your license and configure the plugin as described above.
The plugin declares an Update URI header pointing at technoleet.dev. WordPress will never look for this plugin on WordPress.org, so there is no risk of an unrelated plugin with a similar name being offered as an update.
Links on the Plugins screen#
After activation the plugin’s row on Plugins → Installed Plugins shows two extra links: Settings (opens WooCommerce → Quick View) and License (opens WooCommerce → Quick View License).
Uninstalling#
Deactivating the plugin removes the button and modal immediately. Deleting the plugin from the Plugins screen also removes its settings option. License data is left in place because it may be shared with other technoleet.dev products on the same site.
