Updates, renewals and moving a site

How updates arrive#

While your license is active, new versions are delivered from technoleet.dev through the plugin’s built-in updater. They appear on the normal Dashboard → Updates and Plugins screens like any other update, and background auto-updates work too.

Before the live folder is swapped, the updater checks the package hash and confirms the package contains the plugin’s critical files (premium-update-gate.php, library/storeengine/init.php and includes/class-pug-plugin.php). By default the gate does not inspect its own updates, because every release touches the bundled license SDK and would be held. If you prefer to review them anyway, set the plugin’s override to Always gate under Plugins in scope.

Renewing#

Renew from your account at technoleet.dev. The License screen warns you when the license is about to expire and shows a Renew license button. After renewing, click Check License Status Now on the License screen so the site picks up the new expiry date right away.

Moving to a new domain or server#

  1. On the old site, open Update Gate → License and click Deactivate License. This frees the activation slot in your plan.
  2. Install and activate the plugin on the new site.
  3. Enter the same key on the new site’s License screen and click Activate License.

If the old site is no longer reachable, you can also remove its activation from the License keys page in your account.

Deactivating#

Click Deactivate License on the License screen. The plugin keeps working, but updates and support stop until the key is activated again. Deactivating the plugin from the Plugins screen does not deactivate the license.

When the license expires#

  • The installed version keeps working. The gate, hidden-plugin detector, integrity watch and alerts are unaffected.
  • No new updates are offered, and the License screen shows a renewal notice.
  • Support is not available for expired licenses.

Renew at any time to resume updates and support.
