Quick Start
The shortest path from a fresh install to your first proposal.
- Pick an AI provider. Go to Settings > Connectors in WordPress and add credentials for a provider. This step is optional but needed for the AI features.
- Set a spend cap. Open WooCommerce > Resolution Desk > Settings > AI & privacy. The default monthly spend cap is 20 USD and the default monthly request cap is 2,000. Lower them if you like.
- Set your return policy. Under Settings > Policy, set the return window, eligible order statuses and your reasons. Or use Read my policy page, choose your policy page, and tick the rules you agree with.
- Add the portal. Create a page called “Order help” and add the
[leet_resolution_desk]shortcode. Exclude the page from page caching. - Send yourself a test request. On the page, look up one of your own orders by order number and billing email, and submit a return request.
- Review the proposal. Open WooCommerce > Resolution Desk > Queue, open the item, read the diff and the policy clauses, and approve, edit then approve, or reject.
- Check the log. Open the Activity log tab to see every step recorded.
Use a test order on a staging site first. Refunds executed through a gateway move real money once you approve them.
