Advanced Settings
Store credit adapters#
With Store credit is issued as set to Automatic, Resolution Desk tries Advanced Coupons store credit first, then TeraWallet, then falls back to a WooCommerce coupon. A guest order gets a coupon when the adapter needs an account. If you choose a specific adapter that cannot credit an order, the proposal fails its preflight check rather than crediting somewhere else.
The Advanced Coupons and TeraWallet adapters were verified against the plugins’ source code and test doubles, not against live installs of every version. Test them on a staging site first.
Client IP behind a proxy or CDN#
The portal limits lookups and messages per visitor. Behind a proxy or CDN, every visitor can look like one address. Choose the header your proxy sets: CF-Connecting-IP (Cloudflare), X-Real-IP, or X-Forwarded-For (right-most IP, added by your proxy).
Only choose a header your own proxy or CDN sets, and make sure visitors cannot reach your server directly. Otherwise a visitor could fake the header. The Health tab warns you when it looks like you are behind a proxy.
Exchanges in another currency#
Exchanges use catalogue prices in the shop’s currency. An order paid in a different currency cannot be exchanged unless a currency plugin returns true from the leet_rd_exchange_currency_supported filter. See Hooks & Filters.
Overriding templates#
Copy a template into your theme to change it:
- Portal:
yourtheme/leet-resolution-desk/portal/(lookup.php,order.php,case.php,request-form.php). - Emails:
yourtheme/leet-resolution-desk/emails/, for exampleleet-rd-resolved.php.
Translations#
A .pot file ships in the plugin, and a wpml-config.xml registers the policy reasons and your policy text for translation with WPML and Polylang. Customers always get translated template replies.
Uninstall and data#
The plugin registers WordPress personal data export and erase tools and purges old conversations daily after the retention period. Deleting the plugin removes its data only if you ticked the uninstall option.
Deleting the data removes the tables, options, transients, photos and upload folder. It keeps the _leet_rd_* meta on WooCommerce orders and store-credit coupons, and the matching order notes, as bookkeeping records.
