Rate limits
Agent Control > Settings > Limits sets two hourly limits that apply to each agent separately:
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Calls per agent per hour | 0 (unlimited) | Every gated call counts. |
| Writes per agent per hour | 0 (unlimited) | Only calls to abilities that write count. |
When an agent reaches a limit, its calls are refused with HTTP status 429 and a message saying when it can try again. This protects you from a runaway agent loop.
Developers can set different limits per agent with the abgate_rate_limits filter. See Hooks and filters.
