Risk Read
Before any change, Update Doctor reads the update and gives it a level: low, medium, high or blocked. It looks at:
- Requires PHP or Requires WordPress newer than your site (blocks the run)
- A major version jump
- “Tested up to” older than your WordPress version
- A release newer than your cooldown (default 2 days)
- Changelog words: breaking, removed, deprecated, database, migration, requires php, security
- No changelog available
Changelogs are read through the WordPress.org plugin API, so they exist only for plugins hosted on WordPress.org. An optional button gives a three-sentence AI summary of the changelog.
