Introduction

AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity and Claude send shoppers to stores. Whether they can find and recommend your products depends on your own data: GTINs, brands, attributes, titles, return and shipping policies, and crawler access.

CiteCart does four things:

• Audits every product and your store, and gives each product a plain verdict.
• Proposes fixes with rules or your own AI provider. Nothing is written until you approve, and every applied batch can be rolled back exactly.
• Keeps a knowledge base of store facts you approve. Only published facts reach your structured data and AI agents.
• Measures AI traffic: visits, crawler hits and orders from AI assistants.

The audit, knowledge base and traffic dashboard work without an AI provider. The license controls updates and support only, and all features work without it.
