Release Notes

1.0.2#

Changed

  • Deleting the plugin now also removes its license activation state (license key cache, background re-check schedule, and the plugin's entry in the shared StoreEngine license data). The license itself stays valid in your account; re-enter the key if you install CiteCart again.
  • The readiness scan's structured-data sampler now verifies TLS certificates when a product page is served from another host. The site's own pages are still fetched without certificate checks, so stores on self-signed local certificates keep working. Developers can override this with the citecart_sampler_sslverify filter.
  • The schema version is kept in the autoloaded options, saving one database query on every page load for sites without a persistent object cache.

Fixed

  • Uninstall with "Remove all CiteCart data when the plugin is deleted" now also clears the AI source saved on orders (both the orders table and legacy order posts). The setting's description on Settings now says so.
  • The AI traffic beacon no longer writes a rate-limit record on every visit while "Track AI traffic attribution" is switched off.
