Overview

What Section Blocks Pro does

Start with the free Section Blocks

The free Section Blocks plugin gives you 25 ready-made blocks for the WordPress block editor: 13 page sections (hero, features, services, steps timeline, testimonials, pricing tables, team members, FAQ, gallery, newsletter, CTA and more) and 12 design elements (advanced heading, icon box, button group, logo cloud, callout, promo banner, shape divider and more). Every block follows your theme’s colors and fonts, loads only its own CSS and JavaScript, and has Responsive Visibility toggles and a Custom CSS field. Nothing is locked.

What Section Blocks Pro adds

Section Blocks Pro is an add-on that installs next to the free plugin. It adds a Conditional Display (Pro) panel to every one of the 25 blocks, so you decide who sees a section and when:

  • Login state – everyone, logged-in users only, or logged-out visitors only.
  • User role – limit a logged-in block to Administrators, Editors, Subscribers, Customers or any role another plugin adds.
  • Device – mobile only (under 768px) or desktop and tablet only (768px and up).
  • Date range – a show-from and a show-until date and time in your site’s time zone.

Typical uses: a members-only pricing table that logged-out visitors never see, a “Create an account” call to action shown only to visitors who are not signed in, a promo banner that appears only on phones, or a seasonal offer that switches on and off on schedule.

Login, role and date rules run on the server, so a hidden block is not sent to the browser at all; the device rule is applied with CSS. Conditions are stored with the block. If Pro is deactivated or a license expires, the free plugin shows every block to everyone and your content stays intact. More Pro features are on the roadmap.

How it works

  • 1. Install both plugins. Activate the free Section Blocks (1.3.0 or newer) from WordPress.org, then upload and activate the Section Blocks Pro zip from your technoleet.dev account.
  • 2. Activate your license. Open Settings → Section Blocks Pro, paste your key and click Activate. The Conditional Display panel appears in the editor right away, and updates arrive through the normal WordPress update screens.
  • 3. Set a condition. Select any Section Blocks block, expand Conditional Display (Pro) in the block sidebar and choose who sees it, on which devices and between which dates. The block stays visible in the editor; the rules apply on the public site.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do I need the free Section Blocks plugin?

Yes. Pro is an add-on: the 25 blocks come from the free Section Blocks plugin (1.3.0 or newer), which must be installed and active. Pro adds the Conditional Display panel to them.

How do the device rules work?

Mobile only means a viewport narrower than 768px; desktop and tablet only means 768px and wider. The device rule is applied with CSS, so the block markup is still delivered and simply not displayed. The free plugin Responsive Visibility toggles keep working alongside it.

Does it work with page caching?

Login-state, role and date rules are evaluated when a page is rendered. Make sure your full-page cache serves separate pages to logged-in and logged-out visitors (most caching plugins do by default), and clear the cache when a scheduled block is due to appear or disappear.

How do I activate my license?

Open Settings → Section Blocks Pro in wp-admin, paste the key from your technoleet.dev account and click Activate. The key is re-checked once a day in the background, with a 14-day grace period if the store is unreachable. Each activation counts towards the number of sites in your plan; deactivate a key there before retiring a site.

What happens when my license expires?

The plugin stays installed and your content is safe. You no longer receive updates or support, and the Conditional Display panel is paused until you renew; in the meantime the free plugin shows every block to everyone. Your conditions are stored with each block, so nothing is lost when the license is active again.

How do I get support?

A valid license includes support for one year. Open a ticket from your technoleet.dev account and include your WordPress, PHP and plugin versions.
